For all you guys out there!
What is the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear the word "WOMAN"???
Is it your mother/ your sister/your girlfriend /a strong independent personality/a weak dependent soul/ "Good for nothing element"??
I am sure all of you had at least one of these images in your mind about "Woman"
But even if the images were negative , do read this and i am sure there would be a positive change in your attitude towards a woman, the next time you come across her!
A woman ,in whichever role she is,is a symbol of eternity, sacrifice, love, compassion, care which many of us fail to understand!
Do respect her because don't forget your Presence is due to her Existence!

It is hard to fathom how slow moving the cultural exchange
of the world is when you find out that there are several places across the
country where harmful customs of the ancient world coexist with modern
appliances and thoughts. However that may come as hardly any surprise to anyone
who has lived in India. It is only in India that glaring and brutal gang rapes
occur frequently in a state that is headed by a woman Chief Minister.
Gender discrimination is the least of worries for women in
India, known otherwise as the fourth most dangerous country in the world for
women. Other instances of violence against women has an astonishing and grim
variety to it – with acid throwing, domestic violence stemming out of dowry,
rape, harassment and an assortment of others.
India as a country is still recovering from years of abuse
in the time of the Raj and more years of economic suffering at the hands of the
License Raj. It is only now that globalization, liberalization and other
socio-economic forces have given some respite to a large proportion of the
population. However, there are still quite a few areas where women empowerment
in India is largely lacking.
Not everyone starts from the same place on the path out of
poverty. Lack of education for girls contributes to early marriage, higher
birth rates, and lower income. Discriminatory laws prohibit women from owning
or inheriting property, holding bank accounts, or prosecuting abusers.
Girls face the greatest risk, as they often have no choice
but to leave school so they can help their family earn money, find food, look
after younger siblings, collect water, and run the household while their
parents work.
Despite all this, Given a chance women have the power to
help build a better world for all.Women tend to transfer improvements in their
own lives into the lives of their children, families and communities.
The evaluation found
that women had become more mobile and begun to have new interactions with a
range of officials. There was even a growing willingness on the part of group
members to approach the Panchayats and Collectors with petitions or grievances.
In all, the evaluation found that:
- 50% of women group members had visited new places and traveled longer distances; and
- 94% had experienced new interactions with staff of institutions such as banks, district and block development organizations, NGOs and the project itself.
Let's take an instance of the most defensive industry that
does work well even when our country has the clouds of inflation hovering around
it! Here as well Women have proved that she alone can survive the so called "Male
dominated industry" with 100Cr+ blockbusters with all her wit and beauty.
It is observed that women make up only 2% of the world CEOs.
Don't underestimate even when you look at these figures. It's not the inability of
the women that is hampering her path but it is the outlook and the attitude of
the male dominated society that refrains her to take up such positions. When
she can take care of the entire household, accounts, tantrums and still manage
to take up decisions that are fair and favourable with all her senses and wit on,at
the end of the tiring day, why on earth can't she manage a company ,even when she has all the required
degrees and necessary skills! Males do ponder over this!
Don't Judge a Book by its Cover! Similarly a Woman is a book
that has hell lot of winning, losing, compromising, sacrificing stories in it,
don't just judge her by her appearance, try and explore her, you might end up
changing your mindset and outlook towards her!
If she can give birth to a man, she can move mountains! Do
not underestimate!
Why do we celebrate Women’s Day? Is it a formality or a day
in the name of women that is celebrated only for the heck of it! Guys, on behalf
of the entire women community, I want to make you understand that if you all
respect us ,don’t wait for the women’s
day to acknowledge, respect and appreciate us, we are not in a wait to hear
such words, but if you can’t and don't respect us, don’t make those pseudo celebrations
in our name and defame us all the other days. Also if you all can’t understand
our silence and non-violent behavior to resist you in wrongdoings towards us,
we are now in a position to sweep you off your feet and show you what a 21st
century women can do!
All this planted a business idea in my mind whose roots and pillars would be WoMeN. This business no wonder would be a victory , not necessarily in monetary terms in its years of inception but truly it would successful in making the women much more confident in the areas of leadership, management and self confidence. It's all about grouping them together having expertise in different areas and encouraging them to bring out the talent in front of the world through their work. This would be a source of income for all those women who were at some point in time aspiring to do something with the talent that they possess but couldn't due to the unfavorable circumstances that they dwell in. It is not a hardcore business idea that is developed for the sake of my earnings but it is a selfless activity designed to develop a source of earning for the talented Indian Women , thereby bringing some artistic and creative elements and items that most of the Indian and the crowd abroad love and that too at affordable prices!
We have a long way to go, but we will get there someday. We
shall overcome.
